Sohrab Shahabi, Ph.D.
Dr. Shahabi obtained his Ph.D. in Political Economy from Indiana University. He has served as Director General of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) affiliated with the Iranian Foreign Ministry. He has been Deputy Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization for two consecutive three-year terms. He has advised various ministers, and has served as a member of delegations negotiating international issues. He has taught various political and international subjects at the graduate level.

Ahmad Azizi
Former ambassador to Germany and former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and former Member of Parliament for two consecutive terms from Qazvin, Ambassador Azizi has served as Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament. Mr. Azizi obtained his Master’s degree in Management from Washington University.

Khadijeh Aryan, Ph.D.
A holder of degrees from Allameh Tabatabaee University and Hofstra University in the US, Dr. Aryan is currently Professor at Allameh Tabatabaee University in Tehran. Her various positions and appointments include Visiting Fellow of the Institute of Education, University of London; ISESCO Secretary General for Iran; Director General for International and Scientific Cooperation, at the Ministry of Education; and Head of Bureau for assisting education in Afghanistan.

Kia Tabatabaee
With a Master’s degree from Texas University, Ambassador Tabatabaee has served on missions to Russia, Germany, Switzerland and Turkey. He also acted as Director General for Multilateral Economic Affairs, and is currently Deputy Secretary General of D-8.

Mirmahmud Moussavi
A graduate of Tehran University, and former ambassador to Islamabad and New Delhi during two separate missions, Ambassador Moussavi has served as Director General for the ECO region, as well as South Asia.

Majid Raeisinia
A graduate in Economics from the Tehran University, Mr. Reisinia is a well-experienced diplomat who has held various diplomatic posts in Canada, the UK, Malaysia and Afghanistan. He has also served as Director at the Secretariat of the ECO.

Hossein Malayek
Ambassador Hossein Malayek, a career diplomat who served in the Foreign Ministry of Iran for almost 30 years. His previous post included, Director for Eastern Europe, Ambassador to Switzerlan in Bern, Ambassador to China in beijing and advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also served in the Ministry of Oil as the Director General for International Affairs.
