Dr. Yousef Hojjat

    Holding a Ph.D. in Precision Machinery from the University of Tokyo, Dr. Hojjat is currently Chairman and Managing Director of Raja Passenger Train Company.  He has served as Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Cooperatives.  Dr. Hojjat has served as Deputy Head of the Environmental Protection Organization.  He is also assistant professor at Tarbiat Modaress University in Tehran.

Dr. Majid Shafie-pour

    Dr. Shafie-pour holds Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, a post-doctorate in Application of Alternative Sources of Energy, and a post-doctorate in Environmental and Air Pollution Engineering.  He has extensive experience in research, and consulting, and is widely published.  Currently, he is professor at the University of Tehran. 

Dr. Parvin Nassiri

    Dr. Nassiri received her doctorate in Physics, and her Master’s degree in Health Physics.  She is the Secretary of the Iranian Society of Environmentalists, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Quarterly Journal of Environmental Science and Technology.  Dr. Nassiri conducts research on noise and vibration control.  She has taught the University of Tehran and currently teaches at Azad University.   

Dr. Mohammad Soltanieh

    Dr. Soltanieh holds a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from State University of New York (SUNY).  A leading scholar and the initiator of environmental projects, including a research project on climate change under UNFCCC, Dr. Soltanieh is professor of Chemical Engineering at SUT in Tehran.  He is also a founding member of the Iranian Energy Society, and also a member of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Dr. Mojtaba Ardestani

    A holder of a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Arizona, Dr. Ardestani is a professor at the Faculty of Environment at the University of Tehran.  He taught at Tarbiat Modaress University, the University of Kentucky, and the University of Tennessee.  His achievements include 6 years as Head of the College of Environment affiliated to the Department of Environment.  He is Chief Editor of the Environmental Journal.

Dr. Saeed Motesadi

    Dr. Motesadi has a doctorate in Environment Health Engineering.  Widely published, he has a teaching position at the Environment Health Group at Shahid Beheshti University.  Dr. Motesadi has served as Director General at the Office of Air Pollution Analysis, and is Head of the Subcommittee of Climate Change Convention.

Dr. Abdolreza Karbassi

    Dr. Karbassi holds a doctorate in Marine Geochemistry from Mangalore University, India.  He has held the position Head of Department of Environment at the Ministry of Energy and is a professor at the Graduate Faculty of Environment at Tehran University.  He is also a member of the New York Academy of Sciences as well as a member of the Energy Committee of Iran, affiliated to the World Energy Council.
