Dr. Mohammad Hadi Mahdavian

    Dr. Mahdavian is a graduate in Economics from Birmingham University in the United Kingdom.  He served as Director General for Economic Affairs in the Central Bank of Iran, where he was responsible for formulation and implementation of monetary policy, economic analysis, and CBI publications.  He also served as the advisor to the Executive Director of the IMF in Washington DC from 1995 to 1998.  He has published widely in international journals. 

Dr. Mohammad Hossein Tizhoush Taban

    Dr. Tizhoush Taban holds a Ph.D. in Economic Planning from Lancaster University.  He has taught in universities and has conducted research for UNIDO.

Mr. Javad Yarjani

    Mr. Yarjani has a Master’s degree in Economics from Houston University.  He is Iran’s National Representative in OPEC, Director of Market Analysis of the OPEC Secretariat, as well as the Head of the NIOC Bureau in London, Singapore, and Tokyo.

Dr. Ahmad Jalali Naeeni

    Dr. Naeeni graduated from the University of Southern California, the University of Kent, in the UK, and the University of Berkeley.  He is a professor at the Graduate Institute for Development and Planning.  He is also an expert in finance and financial models of oil pricings.  He conducts research for OPEC and the World Bank, and is also an advisor to the Tehran Stock Exchange.  Dr. Jalali is the recipient of the Economic Cooperation Organization Award for Best Economist of the ECO region.

Dr. Mohammad Reza Shojaeddini

    With a doctorate in Economics from Iowa State University, Dr. Shojaeddini serves at Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Iran.  He is Director General for Credits, and Director for Research.  In addition, he acts as advisor to the Executive Director of the IMF in Washington D.C.
