Ravand 1st Annual Conference On 2-3 September 2006, the Ravand Institute played host to a formidable group of local and international professionals, government figures, policy-makers, representatives of international organizations, and academics. In keeping with its mission of paving the way for global interaction and exchange, the Ravand Institute initiated its First International Annual conference in Tehran.
The high-level forum, held at the prestigious Aseman Convention Centre, addressed the theme ‘Iran: Its Role, Security, and Partnership’. Following a welcome note by the Chairman and CEO of the Institute, Dr. Hossein Adeli, the conference was inaugurated by two speakers: Engineer Gholam Hossein Nozari, Managing Director of NIOC, who delivered his speech through an economic lens, and Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani who presented his address through a politically-oriented prism. |
